Most Associations dive into their budgeting process a few months before the end of the fiscal year, and then need to scramble to get everything done on time. Starting early, taking the time to do careful planning, gathering the right data, and having a robust understanding of an Association's financials and reserve study are keys to success.

Aimee Hilton, CMCA, AMS, is a Portfolio Community Association Manager with Emerald Management and Consulting. She holds her CMCA and AMS and has been in the industry for over 8 years. She also holds a master’s degree in human resource management and her passion is managing persons of all backgrounds and advocacy for inclusion. She is the Chair for the Made for Managers Day Committee. She is a Seattle area native and has a 5-year-old daughter named Olivia, 2 cats, Cinnamon and Mocha, and a small dog, Spartacus. She has a slight obsession with Starbucks, and you can normally find her there. |
