Professional Bio
Valerie is a partner at Condominium Law Group, PLLC, which exclusively serves condominium and homeowners association clients with all of their legal needs. In 2024, Valerie was admitted to the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), and is one of only 5 attorneys in Washington State having earned that distinction.
Valerie is proud to mentor, train, work with, and support a growing team of smart, engaged, versatile professionals who are experts in community association law. Valerie and her partner Ken conduct weekly Zoom Q&A sessions, which began as a response to COVID-19 and have expanded to include a wide variety of topics relevant to condominium and homeowner associations in Washington State. Valerie volunteers on the WSCAI Legislative Action Committee and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, writes often for the Journal, and teaches frequently at industry events.
Born in Detroit, Valerie moved to and grew up on Lopez Island in the Pacific Northwest. She speaks four languages with varying degrees of fluency and loves to travel and spend time with her daughter, family, friends, and her dog, Dot. She is an avid PNW sports fan and attends games (Seahawks, Mariners, Kraken, and Sounders) whenever possible. She looks forward to the day when our SuperSonics return to Seattle.
