2023 Award Nominations
Chapter Communication
Dear WSCAI Member,
It’s Chapter Award Nomination time! Each year WSCAI members are asked to nominate other members in up to seven (7) categories (described below). We hope that you will participate.
The nominee must be a CAI member and contribute to the WSCAI chapter.
Nominations are limited to one submission per category.
It is customary to not nominate yourself, the company you work for, or directly ask someone to nominate you. The exceptions to this rule are the Board of Directors of the Year and the Community of the Year awards.
Not every award is given every year, even if there are nominations. Decisions are at the discretion of the Awards Task Force and its selection sub task forces.
Award Categories:
- Homeowner or Association Board of Directors of the Year (Individual or Group): Nominations for this award can come from any Chapter member, including but not limited to business partners, the management company, a manager, homeowners, community members, a Board member, or the Board of Directors. The award is given for outstanding achievements benefiting the community and acknowledging any contributions to the Chapter.
- Community Manager of the Year (Individual): Nominations for this award can come from a peer, association client, or business partner. This award is for a CAI member manager with professional certification(s) with 4 or more years of CIC management experience who demonstrates excellence in community management and outstanding contributions to the chapter.
- Business Partner of the year (Company): Nominations for this award can be from any Chapter member outside of the business itself. The Business Partner would provide outstanding service and contribute to the Chapter in a superior way.
- Chapter Volunteer of the Year (Individual): Nominations for this award would be for an individual Chapter member and may be made by any Chapter member pointing out exceptional contributions to the Chapter through volunteerism.
- Outstanding Management Company of the Year (Company): Nominations for this award may come from any chapter member outside of the management company itself. The Management Company of the Year provides extraordinary service and contributes to the Chapter in an outstanding way.
- Rising Star Award (Individual): This nomination may come from any Chapter member to celebrate manager members who have been in the industry 0-4 years. The Rising Star will have at least one CAI or CAM-ICB designation, participate in Chapter Events, and volunteer on at least one committee.
- Community of the Year (Property): Nominations for this award may come from the community Board, Association Manger, or Business Partner recognizing outstanding community achievements. The community must be a CAI member.
