Topic for 5/15/2018:

Stay In The Black While Going Green —
Managing Your Costliest Operating Expense

The Puget Sound is a progressive region with strong environmental awareness. Nowhere are our environmental concerns more important than right at home in the communities we live in and manage. However, going green with one of your costliest service services, landscape management, can often result in financial or aesthetic compromises that divide boards and communities. Sustainable landscape management can bridge this divide by honoring all three supporting principles including Environment, Social, and Economic ideals. Negotiating potential pitfalls and creating awareness about sustainable practice options early through education and good communication can help you manage expense and unite communities instead.
