Margey Meyer, CMCA, PCAM

Margey Meyer, CMCA, PCAM is president of CADRExperts (Community Association Dispute Resolution Experts) providing professional, knowledgeable, effective developer transition specialists, board trainers, expert witnesses, mediators and arbitrators to community association boards, developers and attorneys. Margey is also a certified mediator with the American Arbitration Association and Houston’s Better Business Bureau. As a volunteer with the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for more than three decades, Margey chaired the Foundation for Community Association Research, Education Committee and Government and Public Affairs Committee, and served as Treasurer and VP of the Executive Committee during her 11 years on the Board of Trustees. She was twice named CAI’s Educator of the Year and, in 2014, was honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award. Margey is a nationally-recognized educator, trainer, speaker, advocate and author in the field of leading, managing and developing community associations.

Dr. Hart Hodges

Dr. Hart Hodges

Dr. Hodges is an Associate Professor of Economics at Western Washington University, where he serves as a director of the university’s Center for Economic and Business Research. In addition to his work at the university, Hart is a registered investment advisor and President of Waycross Investment Management Company. His academic research interests include natural resource economics and environmental policy, health economics, and regional economic development. Hart volunteers his time on several boards and through the Center helps a variety of non-profit organizations.

Hart is a past president of the Association of University Business and Economic Research and a member of the National Association of Business Economists. He is currently on the board of the Northwest Workforce Development Council in Bellingham and the Pacific Northwest Regional Economics Conference. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington, his Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University, and his BA from Williams College.

James McCafferty

James McCafferty

James McCafferty is Director of Western’s Center for Economic and Business Research. In this role he seeks to broaden the connections between the University, the College of Business and Economics and the real world – businesses, non-profits and government agencies – through student internships, classroom based projects and consultative projects drawing on faculty, staff and students.

James brings a unique perspective and critical tools to problems faced by organizations today based on professional and community service experience at local, regional, and national levels. He blends the best approaches from the for-profit, non-profit, government, and individual sectors to create unique blended responses that are effective, efficient, and practical while also maintaining long-term sustainability.

James’ core skill areas include: research, financial modeling, business development, branding/identity, marketing, finance, tax and legal issues (from a lay perspective), operations, growth management, and strategic partnering.

James has an MBA from Western Washington University, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Public Relations from University of Oregon, is a Certified Global Business Professional and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of University Business and Economic Research.

Chelsea Webster, CMCA, PCAM

Chelsea Webster, CMCA, PCAM

Chelsea Webster, CMCA, PCAM, joined Trestle Community Management in July 2019 and celebrates 15 years in the industry. In her role as Senior Community Manager, she manages a large, diverse portfolio of associations throughout the Puget Sound, specializing in large scale and active adult communities. Chelsea has been a very active, involved member of WSCAI since 2008, teaching various educational seminars and serving as a Community Outreach Committee member since 2012. She is currently serving a second term on the WSCAI Board of Directors.

Ann Hart is with HUB International NW where she works as a Commercial Insurance Advisor. Ann has 20 years of combined experience in community association management, real estate, senior housing and rental management and enjoys helping others learn and excel in the industry and networking with other industry professionals. When she is not working, Ann enjoys traveling, attending sporting and cultural events, volunteering, working out, and spending time with friends and family, dogs Buddy and Charlie and cockatiel Peanut.
