Scott Breslin, CIRMS, graduated from Albion College in Michigan with a degree in Economics and Management. He joined the McCredie Agency, Inc., located in Flint, MI, in 1996. Since then, he has worked in the field of commercial and professional risk management, and his specialty is in condominium and apartment insurance. An avid golfer, Breslin understands the benefit of helping young people develop the skills necessary to succeed in the business world. Many of those skills can be learned on the golf course. Currently, he serves on the board of the Flint Junior Golf Association (FJGA). The FJGA is one of the oldest junior golf programs in the country. In 2000, Breslin was recognized as the Young Agent of the Year by the Young Agents Council, a division of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA), which is the largest Association in Michigan for the Independent Insurance Agents, representing independent agencies and industry employees. An active member of the United Condominium Owners of Michigan (UCOM) and Community Associations Institute (CAI) Michigan Chapter, Breslin has been a frequent lecturer at conferences on the importance of liability coverage for homeowners associations for the last seven years. Breslin currently resides in Grand Blanc, MI, and has recently obtained his CIRMS (Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist) designation through the Community Association Institute of America (CAI).
