Association Insurance Claims – How To Keep Your Head Above Water!
Join us as we take a deep dive into the role each party plays and explain the importance of proper coordination and communication. We will guide you through a loss event from the initial response, to filing a claim, through completion of repairs.
Our goal is to provide tools that can assist with maintaining organization and efficiency throughout the process.

Alycia Maykovich is a Project Manager with Agynbyte LLC. Alycia has been in the industry for 8 years, the majority of that time spent as a Community Association Manager. Her portfolio has been comprised of condominiums ranging from 14 units to 250 unit mixed-use buildings. Alycia began working at Agynbyte LLC in 2019 and after two years as a portfolio manager, she was asked to help build the Project Management Division. As a portfolio manager for several years, she understands the complexities of working with boards, owners as well as vendors and strives to make the process as seamless as possible.

Brett Nebeker is the Agency owner and Condo HOA Practice Leader at Rice Insurance. His practice has been focused on common interest communities for nearly 15 years. Brett would like to think that he’s seen it all when it comes to association claims, but he doesn’t think that will ever be the case! He enjoys working in partnership with managers and boards where hc can be a true risk management resource and advocate.

Joe Birkmeyer is an Insurance Project Manager for Mcleod Construction, a Seattle-based General Contractor specializing in multifamily and mixed-use dwellings. Before joining Mcleod Construction in 2020, Joe worked his way up through a National Restoration General Contractor to become the Branch Manager for the Seattle, WA Region. With more than 10 years of experience in sales and insurance estimating/project management, he continues to develop strategic relationships with leaders in the Construction and Insurance Industries.
