A wonderful time was enjoyed by many of our members at WSCAI’s culminating event – the Annual Meeting & Awards Gala. Always one of our most beloved and popular occasions, this year’s celebration — the Chapter’s 40th “birthday”— was no exception! Hosted at a new location, the Tulalip Resort and Casino, the evening themed “Rubies and Pearls” treated attendees to a cocktail mixer followed by a lovely dinner during which the year’s award nominees were recognized and award recipients were announced.

Also celebrated were our much appreciated outgoing and incoming Board Members and Chapter staff. After dinner, the unique location afforded further opportunities for folks to get social, let their hair down, and have some fun! Many groups tried their luck at slots or on tables in the casino, while others chatted and danced the night away in one of the resort’s many venues.

Thanks to all who made the trip north to celebrate our organization, the industry, and the wonderful work each and every one of our members does throughout the year.

If you didn’t make it this time, you were missed…and we hope to see you next time. Mark your calendars for next year’s event on Friday, November 8 at the Washington Athletic Club (WAC)!
