November 2016 Chapter Luncheon Photos

November 2016 Chapter Luncheon Photos. Chapter Luncheons are offered three times a year. They are open to all WSCAI members – homeowners, board members, managers, management company owners and businesses that service the community association industry.

These events also provide an opportunity for networking with peers, a delicious lunch, as well as 45-60 minutes of industry-specific education. At this last Chapter Luncheon for 2016, WSCAI’s Recruiter Campaign announced Recruiter of the Year Award. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Recruiter Campaign this year!

The Luncheon also served as a Toys For Tots toy drive, and thank you to everyone who donated!

2016 Community Associations Day Photos: Community Associations Day or CA Day is Washington’s largest educational conference and trade show for condominium and homeowner associations and community managers – it’s often referred to as a home show for condos and HOAs.

CA Day is an annual, all-day event that includes industry-specific exhibitors in a trade show, education-based sessions, a networking lunch, as well as the opportunity to have your association’s questions answered by professionals and peers.

Chapter Mixers are part of the WSCAI Business Partner Committee’s Social Events. Held four times a year, Chapter Mixers are just a few of the many networking events put on by WSCAI. These social events provide opportunities for our members to build relationships, as well as share knowledge in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you provide services for community associations, or you are homeowner serving on a board, this is a great opportunity to meet with other industry professionals and home owner board members.

2016 Golf Tournament Photos

Theme: “Golf Around the World”

2016 Golf Tournament photos: WSCAI’s 16th Annual Themed Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at China Creek, Newcastle Golf Course. 190 Business Partners and Managers participated. Hole Sponsors decorated their holes around this year’s theme, “Golf Around the World,” thus basing decorations on a country of their choosing. This resulted in many creative costumes and decorations!

The Community Outreach Committee also coordinated another Backpack and School Supplies Drive with Mercy Housing. As a result, 55 backpacks and hundreds of various supplies were collected.

2016 Made for Managers Day Photos

2016 Made for Managers Day Photos. WSCAI’s Made for Managers Day is an annual educational event specifically tailored to industry professionals who manage common interest communities – condominiums, homeowners associations (HOA’s) and cooperatives.

The education offered is appropriate for industry veterans and includes a track for those new to the industry or looking for a refresher. Managers can earn up to four (4) continuing education clock hours by attending the sessions.

In addition to the education offered, a trade show of 55 industry-specific businesses participate to showcase their products and services.

The event wraps up with an afternoon reception, as well as an opportunity for exhibitors to give away exciting prizes to the managers who entered their drawings.

WSCAI 2016 Earth Day Project Photos. Each year, in honor of Earth Day, WSCAI’s Community Outreach Committee solicits nominations from member communities that are in need of assistance with landscape and general spring cleanup. From those nominations the Committee reviews and selects a deserving community. Earth Day projects are backbreaking, yet fun and collaborative events. We thank all of our volunteers for coming out to support our efforts!
