Managers Only Meeting – April 26, 2018

Managers Only Meetings (MOMs) are offered each month with the exception of June and December. MOMs are held on Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and includes a light lunch.

These events are full of relevant, timely information to assist community association managers who want to increase their skills and knowledge-base that are essential to the successful management of associations. Various topics are covered by industry professionals who are members of WSCAI and specialize in a segment of the industry.

MOMs are for Manager members and Sponsors of each specific MOM event. Non-member managers may pay $20 to attend.

David Bach is founder and President of David Bach & Associates, a professional construction management company. Mr. Bach has over forty years of construction experience, dedicating the last twenty years to working exclusively with condominium and homeowner associations. To date, he has managed nearly $170M in renovation projects and has prepared over 3,500 reserve studies. He is a graduate of the University of Washington program in construction management, has been awarded CAI’s Reserve Specialist Designation and is recognized by the NW Wall & Ceiling Bureau as a certified inspector of stucco systems. Mr. Bach has served as an expert witness in construction defects, property managers and building owners on reserve studies, preventative maintenance, renovation of older building, and construction management.

Over the last 30 years, his firm has recovered over 300 million dollars on behalf of Pacific Northwest Condominium Associations and apartment owners. Jerry, a graduate of UCLA School of Law, has more than 35 years of experience in litigating and resolving construction and other real estate disputes.

Daniel Stein is litigation associate specializing in insurance coverage and construction defect issues.  He is also a contributor to the WSCAI’s Community Association Journal, and is an active speaker and educator, having been invited to present at CA Day, MOM’s, and the Washington Rental Owner’s Association.

Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts at UCLA and his Juris Doctorate at USC Gould School of Law where he was a member of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. Prior to joining the firm, Daniel worked on complex class action lawsuits.
