Ann Forrest, BSN, MHA, is a volunteer in Seattle’s Office of Emergency Management and is co-coordinator of the grass-roots Emergency Communication Hubs. Her passion is teaching others to be prepared by offering tasks in manageable bits. At present, she is expanding her outreach to non-English speakers and also helping those who live with shared walls (downtown towers, apartments buildings, condos, etc.).
